Wishing Tree

A Dutch tradition, where guests write their good luck wishes for the couple, and hang them on the tree during the wedding ceremony.

A lovely keepsake for the newly weds.

The wishing tree is a beautiful wedding day custom with Dutch origins. In lieu of signing a guest book, wedding guests are asked to write their wishes and greetings to the happy couple on wish tags. Guests then hang their wishes on the wedding tree using clips, ribbon, hooks, or string.

After the wedding ceremony, the wish tags are collected and placed in a wedding box as a keepsake of the wishes written to the happy couple on their wedding day.
