I reached out to Lorraine via email in December 2022 as we were looking for an officiant for our wedding. My mother is a protestant and my father a catholic, my wife is hindu. We didn't want a religious ceremony, we wanted to incorporate elements from Indian culture and wedding rituals. Lorraine gave me a call within minutes of sending the email. She was flying out for holidays, but still made the time to speak with me and explain what she could offer. We didn't even try contacting anyone else. We put her name down on our intent to marry notice. We met with Lorraine over zoom and she was very detail oriented from the start, she asked us a lot of questions about how we met, what our journey was etc and also took a great deal of interest in our 3 cats (always a plus). Lorraine was courteous and respectful throughout the process, and spent a lot of time and effort towards understanding what the rituals were and what they meant and delivered our service with grace. All of our guests complimented the service and every one had a smile when she called the names of our 3 cats as a part of the service. I would highly recommend Celebrant Ireland, and Lorraine and her husband Keith who deserves a special mention as he was doing a lot of the firefighting behind the scenes and ensured that everything went to plan. Lorraine literally took care of us through the whole process and even made the trek down from Dundalk to go through a rehearsal with us. Thank you so much Lorraine and Keith!
