Darver Castle is an award winning Castle and one of the finest Castle Wedding Venues in Ireland.

Our elegant banquet room has a fantastic old world feeling and will ensure your guests enjoy a memorable day. The unique layout of the Castle allows your arrival reception to be like no other.

The warm comfort of kitchen style rooms, large drawing room & glass topped conservatory style foyer complete with private bar creates an instant atmosphere to begin your special day. ​Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated, complemented by interesting antique furniture and four poster beds.

Darver Castle can now cater for 120 guests throughout the estate in absolute privacy, adding that extra personal touch to your special day.

The bridal parlour

The Bridal Parlour Suite is a unique concept designed so that you and your bridal party can enjoy the experience of getting ready together. Share a wedding breakfast and prosecco and toast to what awaits you on your special day, while hair and make-up preparations take place.

The bridal parlour is a comfortable and luxurious area overlooking our stunning walled courtyard​​.

Set in 50 acres of fine parkland the Castle Estate is surrounded by mature trees, extensive lawns and gardens. The sea and mountains are only a few miles away. It is one of the finest wedding venues in Ireland.  

Darver Castle only caters for 1 wedding per day and will ensure you have total privacy and a memorable day. Darver Castle are delighted to cater for Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Humanist Ceremonies and Blessings which take place our beautiful newly refurbished Ceremony Room which can seat up to 150 guests or weather permitting outside.

Ceremonies can be held 7 days a week.

Darver Castle is in County Louth on the East Coast of Ireland. It is 45 miles/ 75 KM from either Dublin or Belfast. It is approx. 4.5 miles outside the town of Dundalk.
